The Secret Place with God
The secret place with God is the place where people can be open or closed before the Lord. It is the secret place of the soul. I have noticed in my life, God tends to show me things in this secret place. I know in these times we are living in God is looking for obedience in this secret place. He desires us to come to Him where we are, and place it before Him.
God is more interested with what we do in the secret place than anywhere else. (If all were written to what Jesus had done, there wouldn’t be enough space in the world to fit it John 21:25) Matthew 6:4,6,18, we see Jesus refer to this secret place as greater than any outside exposure. As I prayed about this, I began to see God’s heart clearer. This isn’t some religious show! This is a challenge to a life that pleases God. It’s a life of faith, vision, obedience and a right walk with Christ, not to flaunt before men. God desires us to continue being transformed, in the secret place of our soul, so others may experience a touch from God.
Faith and obedience to God’s word pleases God. It is the heart of Faith; we will be let down, we will let others down; others will hurt us, we will hurt others; we will miss the mark God placed before us, and during these times we are faced before God. It’s a heart that says, God, I don’t see it all, nor do I know it all, but I will trust You God. I love you Lord, I place you first, even before my family even before ministry. God, help me see what you see, and guide me.
It is pleasing to God, that we live by faith and bring everything to Him. It’s all good to share testimony with others about what God is doing, but God is pleased when we lay it all down before Him … Let us labor together, and Love God first above all. Let us labor together in the Harvest field, and believe God is doing something so far beyond our thinking. Let us dare to believe the very fire of the Holy Spirit God placed in us, is testing us, and is refining us, for Gods Kingdom to be known in, and through our lives for the Glory of God to be revealed in the heart of mankind, and for Salvation, deliverance and healing to take place in our Hearts, to be shared with the World.
“After all, God sees in the secret, and knows in the secret. He dwells in the secret, and desires us to be real in the secret; when we are real in the secret, we are able to be real in the natural.”
Hebrews 11:6 … But without Faith, it is impossible to please God; for he who comes to God must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him …
Hebrews 4:13 … and there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Jesus. Today, help me to be open with You in the secret place, that others may see/receive You.
